During play, children create meaning from the world around them. It offers the child experiences to think, plan, create, do and find out. Therefore, play is an important part of learning for the child.
Children learn about the world through stories and play. At Playgroup they participate in a range of movement activities incorporating outdoor play, music and dance that supports sensory development in the early years. The Playgroup is based on the Australian Curriculum and the National Early Years Learning framework.
Do you have a pre-school aged child...? Why don't you come along?
Playgroup is open on Wednesday mornings from 9am to 10.30am (during school terms) on the school grounds.
The cost is $2 per family and families are asked to bring a piece of fruit to share.
