School Uniform

The wearing of a neat and tidy uniform is widely regarded as a positive indication of a successful school, and one in which the parents and students have a real pride and a sense of ownership.

In addition, the uniform is a means of helping to develop unity and pride within our community.

Trans-seasonal school unform

It is important that students are comfortable and confident wearing correct school uniform, both physically and socially / emotionally. For this reason, Our Lady Queen of Peace School has moved to a trans-seasonal school uniform.

Rather than have different uniform codes for each of the warmer and cooler seasons, students at Our Lady Queen of Peace School are able to choose which correct school uniform items they wear, regardless of the season.

Tops

• Short sleeved striped polo, with OLQP logo
• Long sleeved striped polo, with OLQP logo
• Polar fleece jacket, with OLQP logo

Bottoms

• Navy shorts, embroidered with OLQP logo
• Navy skort, embroidered with OLQP logo
• Navy pants, embroidered with OLQP logo

Other options

• Pinafore OLQP tartan to be worn with a plain, white long sleeved school shirt

Footwear and socks

• Plain navy ankle high socks
• Plain navy tights (only to be worn with the pinafore / skirt)
• ALL black (no coloured sole or logo) leather-type sneaker (lace up or Velcro fastening for younger students).
• All black Mary-Jane leather-type shoes with a buckle or Velcro fastening.

Sports uniform

The Our Lady Queen of Peace School uniform (tops, shorts and pants) are designed to be versatile, and are to be worn during Physical Education lessons. The shorts and pants are made of a material that allows for students to have full and comfortable movement.

For this reason, students do not require a separate uniform for Physical Education lessons.

The all black, leather-type sneaker can also be comfortably and safely worn during Physical Education lessons.

During competitive sport or sporting carnivals, students may be required to wear official Our Lady Queen of Peace School sports tops, supplied by the school. Correct school shorts are also to be worn. Official sports tops are distributed on a loan basis.
