Our Lady Queen of Peace School has a rich history and tradition. The School and was established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1949. Our charism and ethos lie in the vision articulated by Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, nearly two centuries ago. Our School Vision and Values invite our students to be advocates of peace, justice and compassion.
We believe all children are competent as learners from birth.
Our school has a committed staff who provide a holistic education by developing the spiritual, academic, physical and creative aspects of each individual child. We believe that our students are best prepared for life by developing their thinking, problem-solving, personal reflection and communication skills. Our staff are committed to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
Our Lady Queen of Peace has a strong culture of hospitality to all in our school community. We are an inclusive community based on the life of Jesus Christ. As educators, we work in active partnership with parents and offer many opportunities for parental engagement and involvement in the life of the school community.
